Your new song a little less evil is super relatable! What inspired it?
“It came from me realising I sometimes get closed off when I feel too much in relationships. I wrote it as a reminder about self-worth and trusting your gut. It was one of those songs that felt really honest to write.”
Do your songs come from real life?“
Yes! Claustrophobia surprised me because I didn’t even know what I was writing about at first – it just came out naturally and helped me understand my feelings. I love when music teaches me something about myself.”
What was the first song you ever wrote?“
It was about hating Valentine’s Day because I felt lonely watching romance movies and couples everywhere. It was very dramatic but very real for me at the time.”
What do you love doing when you’re not making music?“
I love hanging out with friends, making playlists, reading, playing video games and getting matcha. Those little things help me reset and feel inspired again.”
What advice would you give to young songwriters?“
Don’t second guess yourself – and always finish your songs! Even if you think it’s not perfect, finishing it helps you grow so much.”

“I have a fear of cotton balls… I don’t know why, but they freak me out! It’s one of those things I can’t explain but just can’t handle.”
